I was “called” into the ministry literally many years ago. I answered the call but did not fully understand what my calling was. The call of “the great commission” is a call and command I realize now that you answer daily to serve people in all walks of life as best stated in Matthew 28 (18-20) 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

In reaching the multitude I have a mandate to support the nations through missions. I also have a passion for lost souls to spread the word of God through outreach ministry. We have a ministry called “7 X 3” to reach at least 7 people a month and put 3 key points of the word of God in their hand; it’s a street ministry, sowing the word as we drive pass many on the street. Another call is to encourage and promote the youth & young people to become followers of Christ.

This great call on my life has been supported by my family and my former Pastor & teacher the late Pastor Harlan Stilwell who was my Shepard for more than 20 years. I now succeed him in pastoring and mentoring at the same great church.
In addition to ministry, I am the President of our non-profit organization The Living Word Inc. This organization supports the community with various food & clothing donations as well as a toys for tots program for the children.

I am a proud mother of three children, eleven grandchildren, and one great-grand. I worked twenty-eight years for small businesses as a government contractor preparing bids and proposals, as office & project manager, and in human resources. All these life skills have come together for me to serve God’s people.
My education includes NOVA (business & office machines), George Mason (political science & human resource certification), Howard University 8A Small Business certification program, & Newburg Theological Seminary. In addition, I am a commissioned notary in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
